Autumn Update

Recently I received a package of beautiful fall decorations that I won in a giveaway from Sue at Country Pleasures. I've been so busy finding homes for all my new treasures that blogging has taken a back seat.

Thank you again Sue for your generosity. My favourite item was the colourful kitchen dishtowel which I have proudly displayed on my oven door.


I even dressed up the framed mirror that hangs at the top of my entrance stairs for those last minute hair-do glimpses with the autumn garland!


I'd show you the candles but alas, they were lit during the ladies' group meeting that I hosted this past Thursday.

And by the way, our meeting was extra special because we had four new ladies attend, three of whom are deaf. C. was our interpreter which helped an awful lot...we couldn't have done without her.

So guess what I'll be doing now.......learning sign language! I've pretty much gotten down the alphabet but I can't wait to learn whole words and phrases 'cause my fingers are just plum tuckered out spelling every word!!
