Welcome to My Market Visit

Well, it was a perfect day at the Market. Lots of people, crafts, food and Coffee!! This is the place where people go not only to shop but to visit and catch up on what's happening. So, as promised, below are a few pics of our adventure. Here is the the scene that greeted us as we entered. There was a delicious smell of all kinds of international foods wafting in the air.

This was our first stop. An extra large Mocacchino with dark coffee. MMmmmmmm. It was a little difficult at first, holding the coffee and the camera, but after a few shots taking the pictures was a breeze.

This vendor has the most beautiful pastries.
Everythings looks yummy don't you think?

I know diamonds are supposed to be a girl's best friend, but who can resist this selection of handcrafted jewelry?

It was fun wandering up and down the isles with my hubby, looking at the arts and crafts.

Doesn't this look fun???

We stopped to get a delicious crepe made with fruit and Nutella but it was late and there were only bananas left. It's probably just as well - my waistline didn't need it.

There was even some live folk music to entertain us.

Here is the German deli - they have some wonderful schnitzel and maple flavored bacon!!

And I was surprised to still find quite a large selection of home-grown produce available. There always seems to be a line up at the cash for these.

Here I am at my friend R.'s table where she and her daughter make so many wonderful things for home and heart. Because they're taking a break until August, R. offered me a free gift. It is a beautifully framed scripture card and stand. (I'll have to show the photo later.) Notice that extra large Coffee!! MMmmmmmmm.

After visiting and chatting with all our favorite vendors, we headed out to the other Market. Unfortunately, those pictures will have to wait for another day because I forgot that my camera battery needed to be charged and it died just as I snapped my final picture on the way out of the first Market.

So there you have it....a fun adventure for a Saturday morning in our town. Thanks for taking the time to read about it. Your comments are welcome.

Your visit to the market looks like it was a lot of fun. There is a very similar market in London, ON. We used to be vendors there.

Thanks for sharing and also for entering my giveaway. Good luck!

Blessings,
Mary
