Here's a little corner in my dining room where I've tucked way all my favourite candles and candle holders. I didn't realize that I had garnered this collection until one day I was doing some cleaning and organizing. When I saw how many candles I had, I wanted to be able to keep them all in one place.
I remembered I bought the shelf at a garage sale last summer for $2 but unfortunately, it was collecting dust in my laundry room. So I cleaned it all up and brought it upstairs and put it all together.
(click to enlarge photo)By the way, my favourite piece is the gold crackle glass vase on the top. I bought it at a ginormous antique store near Toledo, OH about 10 years ago while visiting friends.

I LOVE candles. Here in AZ we have to keep them in the refrigerator if we are not using them because they will lose their shape. Your corner shelf is beautiful also.
