Today, in the interest of taking time to smell the coffee, and since I have the pleasure of my mother in law for a visit, we went exploring at the newest garden nursery in our community.
We strolled around the huge center for about an hour and a half and took in all the sights and floral aromas that we could find. There were so many floral displays, an ice cream parlour and even a butterfly conservatory.
After browsing through many isles of beautiful shrubs and flowering plants, we paused at the ice cream parlour and ordered a small dish of our favorite flavor. Then we sauntered over to the gorgeous Malaysian patio furniture where we relaxed and enjoyed our sweet treat. We talked and chatted about lots of things, but mostly about rearranging and replanting some shrubs and a cherry tree around my home. It was so fun to plan and dream and take in all her green thumb advice.
Here are a few snapshots of the gorgeous flowers in bloom...

Here are some of the beautiful butterflies!!
This is my favorite photo of the day....just a simple display of flowers among some pots. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful which made our visit such a pleasure.
Thanks for taking a break with me today at the garden nursery. Please come back tomorrow when I'll be posting about my giveaway celebrating my 100th post!
